3. Prices
The full price payable, including applicable taxes and delivery charges, will be shown before checkout.
4. Payments
Payments are processed through approved third-party gateways. Available payment methods will be shown at checkout. Young & Seen does not intentionally store full card credentials on its own website.
5. Physical delivery
Printed magazine orders are dispatched from Nelspruit. Delivery is charged separately: PUDO Locker to Locker is R99 and PAXI Locker to Home is R160. The selected delivery charge is shown in the cart and at checkout. PDF and EPUB editions have no shipping charge. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guaranteed dates, unless expressly agreed. Customers must provide accurate contact and delivery details.
6. Incorrect, damaged or defective products
If a customer receives the wrong product, a materially damaged product, a defective product or a product materially different from the description, the customer should contact hello@youngandseen.co.za with the order number and reasonable evidence.
Young & Seen will provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law, which may include replacement or refund. Nothing in this policy limits non-excludable rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
7. Change-of-mind returns
Young & Seen does not ordinarily accept change-of-mind returns for magazines, periodicals, digital editions, personalised products or made-to-order/special-edition products where the law permits this limitation.
This does not affect rights relating to defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.
8. Digital editions
PDF and EPUB purchases are digital products. Once the download or access has been supplied, change-of-mind refunds are ordinarily not offered where law permits.
If a supplied digital file is corrupted, inaccessible or materially not what was purchased, Young & Seen will first attempt to replace or correct the file and will provide another lawful remedy where necessary.
9. Delivery failure
If a parcel is returned because the customer supplied incorrect details or failed to collect within the courier’s collection window, reasonable redelivery costs may be charged where permitted.
Where loss or damage occurs in transit, Young & Seen will work with the customer and courier and will provide any remedy required by law.
10. Pre-orders and print-on-demand
Where a product is clearly identified as a pre-order or print-on-demand item, estimated production and dispatch timing will be disclosed, printing begins only according to the stated production process, and orders may be subject to special-order limitations permitted by law.
11. Refund processing
Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method where reasonably possible. Bank and gateway processing times may affect when the refund appears.
12. Consumer complaints
Complaints should first be sent to legal@youngandseen.co.za. A consumer may approach an appropriate consumer-protection or dispute-resolution body where applicable.
